Any work performed before 8am or after 6pm on weekdays, plus all day Saturday and Sunday, is billed as after-hours.
After-hours, weekend, and rush/emergency requests are billed at 1.5× the standard $100/hr rate. Retainer clients pay a reduced 1.25× instead — see the retainer FAQ for details.
Equipment fees vary depending on what a project requires and are quoted upfront before any work begins — there's no flat published rate since needs differ from job to job.
Travel and callout fees depend on your location and will always be communicated to you directly before service is provided.

Start with a monthly retainer — it's the best way to lock in an ongoing lower rate and guaranteed access every month. A bulk retainer is best used as a top-up when you need extra hours beyond your monthly plan, not as a replacement for it.
Yes — bulk and monthly retainers stack. Each is priced and billed individually, so adding a bulk retainer on top of your monthly plan gives you extra hours during busier stretches without changing your monthly rate.
Yes — retainer clients are billed a 1.25× multiplier for after-hours, weekend, and rush requests, instead of the standard 1.5×.
Once your retainer hours are used up, any additional work is billed at the standard $100/hr rate (and standard after-hours/rush terms) until your hours renew. Adding a bulk retainer ahead of time keeps you on retainer pricing instead.
